In The Beginning...

My dad has always been "handy." Growing up, we never threw anything away, because Dad could always fix it. His talents can be seen in the farmhouse he refurbished for our family, and in the handmade gifts we receive each birthday and Christmas. He is truly a talent. "Dad, you should sell t his stuff!" is something he has heard from all of us for years. So now, on a small scale through this blogspot, he finally will.

Compared to my dad, I am a novice. I like to tinker and paint, creating pieces that are far less complicated. I always shoot for fun and funcitonal~ items that can look great in your home or garden, and usually serve a functional purpose as well.

We plan to post photos of items currently for sale, as well as pictures of pieces that can be commisioned & somewhat customized. Since each one is unique (no cookie cutters) there will of course be details that vary from piece to piece. Smaller items can be shipped, and appointements can be made for you to pick up larger pieces. At the moment, our business contact is via email: thelittlewhitebarn@gmail.com. If there is something you're interested in, shoot us an email & we will get back with you.

I think this will be an exciting endeavor that provides a creative outlet and an opportunity for me to spend even more time with the dad that I love.
